Furniture Painting Workshops

american-paint-company

Thank you for your interest in the furniture painting workshop!
The workshop format is fun and flexible, but there’s a few things we’ll definitely do!
We will draw numbers to pick from a pile of furniture from my stash – side tables, etc. that one person can carry.
We will clean the piece and discuss options for cleaning/prepping pieces with different “issues.”
We will pick paint colors from the American Paint Company line.  You will take your quart home with you after class!
You will paint the first coat {maybe the only coat depending on your preference.}
We will have lunch – catered!  Afternoon classes usually involve finger foods and cupcakes in case anyone is feeling peckish 🙂
We’ll then go back and paint a second coat if desired, add any embellishments such as stencils, and apply wax or top coat.
You’ll leave with a finished piece of furniture you’ll be so proud of!
I limit my classes to no more than 12 folks so everyone gets plenty of time to ask questions and get one-on-one help.
If you are interested, a $75 deposit is required to hold a spot, and the balance of $75 is collected during class.
All you need to bring is a paintbrush!  And I even tell you exactly which one is best 🙂
To sign up, simply fill out the contact form and I will send a Paypal invoice for the deposit.  Classes are held at Gracie Lane in Arlington at Cooper and I-20.
Schedule:
Wednesday, October 23rd 10a-2p {filling up fast!}
Saturday, November 16th 1p-5p {new date added as of today, minimum of six students required to hold class}
Please let me know if you have any questions!
